     What is NCVH?
Our vision of a multidisciplinary team consists of interventional cardiologists, surgeons, podiatrists, family practice physicians, wound care specialists, physical therapists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, cath lab technologists, and any allied health professionals who have the ability to affect patient outcomes and help preserve mobility and quality of life for those in which we care for.

Education is the key and our goal is to offer education for the whole team both in a general session "learn together" atmosphere and also in individual breakout sessions where attendees can concentrate on their individual specialties. We are proud to offer live interventional limb salvage cases as one of our many learning techniques, along with didactic lectures, hands-on technology labs and workshops.

Each year, the conference brings 2000+ attendees, 100+ exhibitors , 140+ faculty and 150+ scientific presentations, including individuals who are considered legends in the field of medicine, such as Dr. Julio Palmaz, the inventor of the coronary stent that bears his name and Dr. Edward Diethrich, inventor of the sternal saw used in open chest surgery. Once again, NCVH will feature live satellite broadcast of interventional cases. A panel of renowned physicians will narrate and discuss the cases during educational sessions, as they are viewed on wide screen by attendees. This dynamic teaching approach will allow participants to experience decision making and procedures in real time.

Now in its eleventh year, NCVH has expanded its focus to include sessions not only for cardiovascular, podiatry and woundcare, but also the cath lab tech, registered nurses and an entire range of cardiovascular health care professionals. While NCVH is a multidisciplinary conference addressing the entire field of medicine, we will offer the 6th Annual International CLI (Critical Limb Ischemia) Summit to bring together world leaders to address the "global epidemic" of CLI, and amputations.

NCVH is well known for hospitality toward its attendees and is held in New Orleans, a city well known for the same. Despite the aftermath of the Hurricane Katrina, we assure you, New Orleans is back and better than ever. New Orleans was given a gift, the first being that the most historic and best-loved areas, the French Quarter and uptown that included the Garden District, remained untouched. Make no mistake, the other gift is the spirit of the people of New Orleans is still there, as well as the warm feeling of jazz music as you stroll through downtown, the inviting restaurants and Cajun culture, the beautiful architecture & the experience of Mardi Gras everyday. Come to the conference in New Orleans, because we promise you... an educational learning experience like no other, in a city that is still the best place to celebrate life! We hope to see you in New Orleans!

Scientific abstracts are now being accepted. To submit or for further information, please visit www.ncvhonline.com/abstracts .
